Chapter 2
Continuation from the post below...
Monday morning as it was, was dull and rainy..much too rainy for February. I parked my car, an old 2nd generation, pale blue, Honda Civic at my usual spot, right next to a garbage disposal area. Life was shitty for me. A low payed job, a worn down apartment, a roughly dented car, and best of all, a dump to park my already worthless job at. Oh yes, how I loved Monday mornings.
I shaked the raindrops of my hair and made my way up into and old, elegant building that had an even older signboard, that clearly and boldly read Thomas & Jefferson; Advocates and Solicitors.
Was it already 5 years? It felt like it was just yesterday that I joined this firm. I remember clearly when I submitted my resume with confidence to fill up the vacancy of an apprentice advocate. But alas, I was taken in for a job far much lower than my expectations, a crappy, clerk. I had to take the job, it was the only one available, as I very much needed the money for my frail and ail mother.
Things were tough, and it was getting somewhat worse day by day. As I approached my desk, the enormous pile of paperwork sunk my heart deep down to the core of my living soul. There were too many things to do; 24 hours is just not enough! If I don't get the paperwork done by lunch time, I won't be able to apply for half-day today. I just had to! Mother can't be left alone in bed at home all by herself, heck, she's barely able to stand up!
I pulled out a contract document from the middle of the stack of papers before me. I have always felt that, if I take my first assignment from the middle, I'd be cutting my job by half. Heh, superstitions.
The first thing about the legal document that caught my eye was a name, far by, the best name I had come across in awhile. It was typed neatly, sized perfectly for an elderly person and even for my age. It was pleasant really, to see someone take the initiative to care about anothers toils and troubles. Her name,
Evelyn Jaslyn.

Dashboard Confessionals
Hmmphh..I'm in the mood of writing love stories, and it looks like, this story would be named after my blog, Dashboard Confessionals.
Chapter 1
The constant pouring rain masked away the glee that I had been potraying all along. My fingers stiffened around the steering wheel. I closed my eyes. The rain brought back the very thought of her that still lingers, no matter how I try to forget her, I just can't. I desperately wanted it to end; the pain, the memories, and the lifetime of love we promised.
I was en route to KLIA, to pick up my sister, as she was the closest to me, and besides being the only relative I had left. I had traveled along this very road numerous times, but somehow today, it felt utterly different. The rain drops on my windshield dropped visibility ahead down to practically zero.
Concentrate, Jason.
I held the overwhelming emotions back. A speed junkie that I was, I never knew what was enough, neighter what was the limit. The rain, police, and traffic lights were merely obstacles in my path. What is there to it? Caught speeding? There's always a way out! Speed had always given me the peace of mind. Swerving past others on the freeway always felt therapeutic .
Finally, the road was clear. I could breathe again.
I turned on the radio. What I heard brought back endless amounts of pain. Tears began rolling down the sides of my cheeks as I hummed the tune of that very song, it was indeed, our song.
You are the strength, that keeps me walking.
You are the hope, that keeps me trusting.
You are the light to my soul.
You are my purpose...you're everything.
Memories rolled back like a roll of film.

Fatigue can kill!
It's been a real tough week, with the Christmas preparations and all. Well, I'm dead tired doing all the chores and cleaning for Christmas. So many things to do! The thing is, there were several MAJOR jobs that my dad and I needed to attend to :
1. The clogging of pipes in the kitchen
2. My house had a case of termites, and we had to break cupboards! TIRING!
3. My mum wanted a bed in the room downstairs, so we had to move everything around to accommodate the bed.
4. Because of the squeezing of all the furnitcure in the room, the wooden frame of the door in that room gave way, causing an even bigger problem. That's it, the door frame CAME OFF!
5. My little niece loves to play with the plugs and socket around the house, and once when she was playing with it, the socket came off the wall. So my dad and I decided to drill a screw to resustain it, and when we did, we accidentally drilled a hole right through the main water supply piping in our house, causing water to shoot out. Basically imagine there's a small hole in the wall where water shoots like in Sunway Lagoon.
We had no other choice but to break the entire portion of the brick wall that was affected and mend the pipe and then re-cement it. God that was tough!
6. Painting!
Haih, I'm so tired.

Life is beautiful, perhaps?
I've always had a dream, getting up in the morning, to the smell of coffee, and turning around to see a girl, with her long hair covering the most beautiful eyes you have ever seen, looking at you straight in the eye, clad in a white shirt, which I wore the day before.
I get up from the bed, hold her waist, and kiss her with love that only Romeo would know. Magical as it may seem, the love was pure, unbiased, and totally dedicated to two souls, me and her.
As she makes the coffee, I take out some eggs, fry them to just the way she loves it, serve it to her, and get my self ready for the day.
Some how, she walks in the toilet, brushes her teeth, and jumps into the shower with me.
Wait! I'm no pervert. This dream is purely fictional, and yet desirable to most people.
We kiss again in the shower, and then proceed to dress up. As we leave the house, I lock up the doors, look her into the eye and say,
"I love you, and I will always will, remember that kay dear?"
We seperate paths, but yet we think of each other, and how much we long to be with the other. Although the distance seperates us, the heart and soul were bound on one solid base, love. I go through the day, knowing that no matter what strikes us down, one glance into her eyes would somehow relieve my broken soul.
As soon as my shift ends, I walk down the pavement that leads me home, my mind still fixated on her eyes, and it struck me. I rushed down the alley, and into the florist. I close my eyes for a bit, and think of her smile. Yes, thats it, purple orchids. I grab few stalks, head to the cashier, and be on my way.
As I reached my doorway, I noticed her dark brown heels wasn't there. I looked at my watch, the very watch she bought for me last Christmas. Yeah, I'm early!
I walk in like a maestro in an orchestra into the kitchen. I grab the silverware and the wok, and prepare a simple meal for two. The table was lavished with wine and candles and a piece of red frock as table cloth.
She reaches home and the first thing she does was to hug me, and kiss me,
"I miss you."
"I missed you too, hun."
She looks into my eyes. We've been together so long that she could practically sense that something was amiss, and that my heart was racing. She gracefully holds my hand,
"What's going on dear?"
"Nothing, I just love you."
I knelt down and presented the orchids to her. The gleam on her face made it all worthwhile.
"Lavender? How'd you know? Oh my god, it's beautiful."
"Only for you."
Her hand was still grasping mine. As she smelt the orchids, the grip grew tighter. She turned to me, and we kissed like there wasn't a second to lose.
I turned on the radio to a slow, soft, Michael Buble groove. I approached her, held her in front of me, and kissed her on the neck, where it could only mean ' I want you '. I held her waist, and we danced into the night slowy and to a soft sight of rejuvinated romance. Emotions flared, lips met, and sweat poured as we celebrated our love for each other.
I then took her into the dining area. She looked at me, and nonchalantly said to me,
"I'm glad I have you, and I'm glad that we are together, and I never wanna lose you ever."
"Dear, don't say those things. You will never lose me."
We ate and drank our glass of red wine till it was in the wee hours of the morning. She looked at me,
"Lets call in medical leave tommorow dear, as I wanna spend my life, if not a day with you."
I closed my eyes and woke up the next morning to the same sight that I'd never wanna lose.
I've always loved this dream, and I never wanna wake up from it at times.

The recollection of my past and present.
Ahh, I'm finally back, my modem got fried and plus my exams were around the corner, so I decided not to use the net at all. However now SAM is over, THANK GOD, but still there are things about it I'm gonna miss for the rest of my life like Asia Cafe, my friends, and some things I shouldn't mention here. ;)
Well anyway, this post is gonna fill up mostly on pictures I took during my life in Taylors College, oh wait thats Taylors UNIVERSITY College.
This is me and good ol' Michelle Tham. She was one of the first few people who I chatted with in the very first few days of SAM. At first she thought I could speak Chinese, lol. Mind my eyes, it's closed.

This is my mentor, Mrs. Soh. She was a very nice lady, always there for her students, and she also bakes for us sometimes. A very very laidback person, she and Mrs.Ngam has the greatest influence in my life during SAM. Thanks teachers, I would miss you lots.

This is my pal, Chee Fook Rong. He's very smart and there are things about him that I find lacking in many people. He for one, treated me well and as a true friend. I really enjoyed his company during my life in Taylors. Thanks mate, I owe you one.

This weird punk is another pal who I would miss from SAM, Tong Allen. This fellow with his gestures and styles is always capable to bring smiles and laughter in the most tense of situations. It is a great quality for him, and I'm sure he'd go a long way with it, despite what most people thinks of him. You go bro!
The next set of pics is from the Mooting Session of SAM for my class. Lol, sorry bout the hair.

L3, well, had some gatherings that were memorable, like Yeepengs birthday in Secret Recipe Subang.

Well, moving forward, the next set of pics is from the 2006 SAM Corroboree(Prom).
The theme of this year was Frozen in Time.
The ice carving of a snowman was spectacular.

Well these are Ben(Batman) and Biing Huei(Robin) fighting crime before bedtime.
This is Psyduck, ahha, my friend from the good ol' days in secondary high, Chiew Hoe. He's got the whole hairdo thingy going for him. Guess I'd have to promote him to Golduck now, eh? *winks*
This was a group photo that turned out preety well actually. Everyone had the mob pose going but Ben just HAD to smile widely. Hahah, maybe he's the Cheerful Godfather.

One of the interesting people I met in Taylors would have to be Dhalini. Shes witty, smart , good with numbers yet bad in accounting. World mystery eh, Dhal?
Mr. Daniel Ho, the guy whos very very cool, calm and collective. A gem of a guy, he's one of the nicest people I've met in a long time. Great guy and my total rivalry in the game of foosball.
Mr.Dota-Kia, Chew Heng Choon, the guy with the least problems in life. Hahha, whenever I see him, he's totally carefree. Very fun to be with and a very nice person.

Miss Sammantha, my good good friend! Sheesh she owed me a dance, but ran off at the last minute! She's (my sms partner) a very very great person to be with, we sms-ed like everyday! She loves to study and she sets it as her main priority. Thats good in a way, but I would'nt follow her style, ahah.
Ahh, Miss Pramilah, the history between us, is truly a remarkable one. Well, a very fun girl to hang out with, a very sensible and astonishingly bright, she makes sure that her friends aren't in any sort of harm. Great personality too!
Albai aka Alvin! My secondary high school friend. Well, this guy, is the bomb! After the prom, we had an experience on the roads of Subang that we'd never forget for the rest of our lifes. I must say, through my experiences with him, I would gladly acknowledge him to be my Best Friend.
This group pic was taken after I was nominated to be Prom King for the 2006 SAM Corroboree. Yes people, I was nominated! Ahahha, but glad I didn't win. If I did, I'd have to wear a sash all through the night! Clockwise from left (Jeffery Thong, Me, Daniel, Chiew Hoe)
Jen er and I. I never really got to know Jen Er, but I bet she's a jewel.
Miss Khu Vin Vin, college has somewhat drifted us apart. We were closer in school I guess, but hey, who could blame it? Its SAM! Hectic schedules!
This guy, Tommy, nice guy I bet. Never chatted with him in my life, but I know his name as the bus driver always calls him Fish-Ball. I just asked him to take a pic with me out of the blue. Hahahha.
Yi Ying! One of the greatest reasons I miss L3. Over the past few months I grew very much accustomed to her. Very very hard to find a girl like her and let her go in an instant.
The DOTA and FOOSBALL group. Ahhaha, nice bunch of fellows.

Well thats about it guys, will update a.s.a.p
